On 22 September at seven in the evening, restaurant PUELCHE brought together guests at Hotel Boutique Mi Almazara, located on the Jesús Pobre road number 161, to unveil its revamped culinary offering centred on Nikkei cuisine. The event was set against the backdrop of views over Montgó.

Heading the kitchen is Chilean chef Edu Acuña, responsible for a proposal that combines Peruvian flavours, Japanese techniques and products from the Mediterranean region. During the evening, Acuña gave a live demonstration preparing corvina ceviche and yakitori skewers for guests. "Here we make Nikkei cuisine," the chef summarised, adding: "We want you to know the space and everything we can do here".

A project with broad aspirations

Esperanza, promoter and driving force behind PUELCHE, explained the project's origins: "Projects that are born from the soul are not projects that arise by chance. They are born because there is a lot of work, a vision and also support". The manager also wished to emphasise that the space goes beyond restaurant services, describing it as a place that combines gastronomy and wellness with multiple possibilities for its visitors.

Esperanza also encouraged the hotel and restaurant to be a meeting point for different types of celebrations: "The idea is that you come with your families, friends, companies or clients. Whatever the occasion, you can come here and let yourself be carried away".

Artisan market and sensory experience

The presentation was completed with a small local market featuring artisan projects and producers linked to the hotel, among them LC Tartaruga, Nostro Coffee Roasters, Amma Collections, Casa Odor, MilSentidos, Aryma, Paraíso Prints and Finca Collado. Likewise, Marta, from Sanaya Synergia, led a sound bath as part of the day's activities.

With this presentation, PUELCHE seeks to establish itself as a space for family events, gatherings between friends or business meetings, within the facilities of Hotel Boutique Mi Almazara. For more information, the restaurant can be contacted on 633827904.
