An established event marking fifteen years
Dénia's Tapas Route, promoted by guiaME Comunicació in collaboration with the Association of Business Owners and Hoteliers of Marina Alta (AEHTMA) and Dénia Town Council, reaches its 28th edition this year, coinciding with the fifteenth anniversary of the initiative. The gastronomic tour will run from 22 October to 22 November with the participation of 48 venues in the town, maintaining the price of a tapa plus drink at €4.50.
Manolo Martí, director of guiaME Comunicació and organiser of the event, highlighted "the effort of the participating establishments in maintaining the price of the tapa plus drink at €4.50, with the added commitment to maintain the quality and creativity of their gastronomic proposals, at a time when the widespread increase in costs is particularly affecting the sector".
In the same vein, Martí emphasised the commitment of the participating businesses: "We want to especially highlight this effort of all the participating venues, which have decided to continue investing in a Tapas Route accessible to everyone and to maintain a moderate price whilst offering a full gastronomic experience for €4.50. A decision that demonstrates the hospitality sector's commitment to the Route and, above all, to its customers".
New additions for this edition
Among the novelties, Baleària joins as a new collaborating company and will raffle a return ticket for two people on the Dénia-Ibiza/Formentera route among those who participate in the voting. In addition, the initiative "What does Dénia taste like? Tell us with a photo!" is being launched, through which guiaME Comunicació will raffle a gastronomic experience for two people among the photographs shared with the hashtag #RutadeTapasDenia.
Regarding the spirit that the Route maintains after three decades of operation, Martí noted that the event continues "with the same spirit that saw it born: valuing local gastronomy, supporting the hospitality sector and turning Dénia into a great meeting point around its tapas". The organiser also extended his recognition to those who have accompanied the initiative over these years, stating that it is "a route that would not have been possible without the involvement of the participating establishments, the tapas enthusiasts, the collaborating companies, Turisme Dénia, AEHTMA and the media, which have accompanied, publicised and given visibility to the initiative edition after edition".
