Opening times for the open doors event

The MARQ, the Lucentum site in the Albufereta and the Illeta dels Banyets in El Campello will remain open from 10:00 to 14:00. The Almudaina Tower, meanwhile, will have reduced hours, from 10:00 to 13:00.

The date coincides with the October bridge (bank holidays), days when other municipalities in the province also facilitate access to historical heritage, as Dénia already did with its guided tours of archaeological heritage.

An international exhibition on pre-Columbian gold

During the free opening, the MARQ also allows visitors to see the temporary exhibition 'Gold and the Universe. Indigenous Knowledge of Colombia', organised with the Gold Museum of the Banco de la República of Colombia and the University of Cambridge. The exhibition brings together 291 archaeological pieces, of which 157 correspond to pre-Columbian goldwork, combined with creations by current indigenous communities.

On the occasion of this exhibition, the CV MARQ Foundation has prepared the family activity 'The clue game', designed to bring the contents of the exhibition closer to younger visitors.
