How we work Ondara Town Council's Department for Children, Adolescents and Youth is organising the 'Nit d'Ànimes a Ondara' 2026, scheduled for 30 October. The Youth Councillor, Jordi Ruiz, and Youth Officer, Pedro Gil, presented the day's programme, which combines tradition, entertainment, children's shows and youth activities across different streets in the municipality and at the Espai Jove.
The day will begin with the Cavalcada de l'Home del Sac procession, departing at 6 p.m. from Plaça de Bous and making its way along carrer Carlos Arniches, Plaça de les Escoles, carrer Major, l'Església and Plaça Major. The organisers encourage families to attend the procession in fancy dress to create a festive atmosphere.
At 7 p.m. in Plaça Major, the children's show 'Què li ha passat al Monstre Petorro?' will take place. As La Marina Times reported, Ondara has an extensive cultural programme lined up for October 2026.
Haunted passage in two time slots
The Espai Jove will host a haunted attraction organised in two sessions by age group: from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for children aged 8 to 10, and from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for young people aged 11 and over. The venue will also offer face-painting activities and outdoor games throughout the day.
Registration for Espai Jove activities is handled through the Youth section of Ondara Town Council's website. The Youth Department invites all residents of Ondara and the Marina Alta comarca to take part in the event.
