A week of school exchange

Xàbia's CEIP Trenc d'Alba welcomed on Monday a group of nine students and two teachers from Italy, as part of the Erasmus+ T.R.I.B.E. project, which has co-financing from the European Union. During this week, the visitors will experience a day in the life of the school, take part in some lessons and have the opportunity to learn about the customs of the locality. The pupils at the Xàbia school organised a welcome reception for them.

Continuation of a collaboration that began last academic year

This meeting marks the second phase of an exchange that started the previous academic year. Between 19 and 24 April 2026, a group of pupils from Trenc d'Alba travelled to Caivano, in the Naples region, where they took part in activities with Istituto Cilea Mameli. That stay was also part of the T.R.I.B.E. project and focused on cooperative play, sport and learning about Italian cultural heritage.

First Erasmus+ experience in Primary Education in Xàbia

Trenc d'Alba thus becomes the first school in the municipality to develop this type of European programme at Primary Education level.

According to reports, the young Italians arrived in Xàbia showing satisfaction and enthusiasm about the experience they were about to have at the school.
