Dénia's Casal Jove expands programming with activities Tuesday to Friday in October
Dénia's Casal Jove, managed by the Youth Department of Dénia council, reopens on Friday 2 October following the summer with a new feature: afternoon activities from Tuesday to Friday, whilst maintaining weekend programming.
Dénia's Casal Jove resumes activity on Friday 2 October with a welcome day from 16:00 to 20:00 under the motto "We're back!", aimed at young people aged 12 to 30. The Youth Department of Dénia council has announced that the main new feature of this season is the addition of afternoon activities from Tuesday to Friday, from 16:00 to 20:00, which complement the existing weekend activities.
Tuesday to Friday programming
Tuesdays in October are devoted to tournaments and games such as table tennis (day 6), Pelusas (13), musical bingo (20) and La Fallera Calavera (27). Wednesdays combine a study afternoon, from 16:00 to 18:00, with games such as Puja a la nau (14), table football (21) and Jenga (28), plus traditional games on day 7. Thursdays feature the Young Entrepreneurs School (EJE) throughout the month. Fridays include the presentation of the MOVE UP project and a game of Trivial (16), open mic karaoke (23) and the textile recycling workshop Upcycling Mode (30).
The Casal Jove will remain closed on Friday 9 October due to the Valencian public holiday.
Weekend activities
El Pati Jove, aimed at children aged 10 to 14, takes place on Saturdays from 17:00 to 20:00 in the Youth space on Ronda Muralles, with cooperative games and bracelets (day 3), QBOX and bubbles (10), challenges and Playmais (17), and Nit de les Ànimes (24).
Meanwhile, Dissabtes Joves, for young people aged 14 to 30, takes place on Saturdays from 19:00 to 23:00, with activities such as table football (3), karaoke and cardio box (10), robotics and role-playing (17), a special horror session (24) and a freestyle session to close the month (31).
