Dénia Stock returns on 3 October with 45 shops and children's workshops on Marqués de Campo
Dénia council is preparing a new edition of Dénia Stock, a fair that will fill Marqués de Campo street with stalls, offers and activities for children throughout 3 October.
A day dedicated to local commerce
The council's Commerce department, together with the AFIC office of Creama, has organised a new edition of Dénia Stock, designed to raise the profile of businesses in the city. The fair will occupy Marqués de Campo street on 3 October, from 10.00 to 21.00, under the slogan "Local commerce, more alive than ever".
Stalls, discounts and a variety of sectors
According to the figures provided, a total of 45 shops will take part in the initiative: 41 of them will set up their own stalls in the street, whilst another 4 will open their doors and participate directly from their usual premises. Throughout the day there will be discounts and special promotions in sectors such as fashion, footwear, jewellery, sport, decoration and accessories.
Entertainment for the youngest
The day will also include a range of free workshops aimed at children. In the morning there will be the Yogi Bear workshop, from 10.30 to 12.30, followed by SpongeBob SquarePants, between 12.30 and 14.00. In the afternoon it will be the turn of the Colour Laboratory, from 16.30 to 19.00, and the programme will close with Little Explorers, from 19.00 to 20.00.
Appeal from the councillor
The Commerce councillor, Maria José Garcia, highlighted the value of this event in showcasing the commercial wealth of the town. "Dénia Stock is one of those events that allows us to take commerce out into the street and show all the variety we have in Dénia. This year we're back with 45 shops, plenty of opportunities and activities for the little ones, so it's a good excuse to come into the town centre, have a stroll, do some shopping and spend the day with the family," said the councillor, inviting residents to visit the town centre throughout the day.
