The Social Welfare Department of Altea Town Council has scheduled a free workshop on intuitive vision aimed at children aged between 7 and 13, who must be accompanied by an adult family member, as their presence is essential for the activities.

The sessions will take place on Saturdays 17, 24 and 31 October at Altea's Centre Social, with a capacity limited to ten children. Registration is free and can be done in person at the Social Welfare Department itself or by telephone on 965 843 075.

Professionals leading the workshop

The activity is directed by clinical psychologist Francisco Palacios and paediatric physiotherapist Celia Marco, both trained as coaches at the Intuitive Vision Institute in Barcelona (InIntuitu). Palacios explained that it is "a very educational workshop, so that parents and children can interact".

Anna Lanuza, head of the Social Welfare Department, indicated that the initiative is aimed at Primary Education pupils.

Content of the sessions

The programme will combine relaxation exercises, work with images and visual materials, and the use of blindfolds to enhance other senses, together with a psychological section featuring tests and stories. The organisers will provide the necessary materials, so participants are only asked to wear comfortable clothing.
