UD Calpe suffers second consecutive defeat, losing 2-1 to Independiente Alicante

UD Calpe, managed by Pedro Perles, fell 2-1 to CF Independiente Alicante in a match played in Alicante in the Lliga Comunitat Grupo Sur.

The Calpe side took the lead through a goal from Xaca from a set-piece. However, Independiente Alicante reacted by switching to more direct play and managed to overturn the result with two goals in just two minutes: first Napoletano's equaliser and then Adrián's winning goal.

This defeat marks UD Calpe's second consecutive loss in the championship.

Despite the last two negative results, manager Pedro Perles maintains confidence in his players.

UD Calpe's next match will be at home against CF Gandía.
