The municipal police force now has two Honda NC 750 X ABS motorcycles, each equipped with three cases and the corresponding regulatory equipment, according to the council.

Added to this acquisition is a privacy screen, designed to protect citizens' privacy during accidents and other emergency situations.

The new material also includes elements to strengthen the protection of officers themselves: riot shields for arrest operations, anti-riot helmets, specific helmets for interventions involving pyrotechnics and special hearing protection for such events.

Improving response and safety

The chief inspector of the Local Police, Ana María García, noted that "the arrival of these motorcycles and specialist material represents a fundamental technical update that allows us to improve our response capacity in patrols and equip our officers with the resources necessary to intervene with maximum operational protection".

Meanwhile, Teulada-Moraira's mayor, Raúl Llobell, stated that "providing our municipality's Local Police with more tools reaffirms our commitment to efficient citizen security that cares for both officers and our residents and visitors".
