Dénia closes successful 'Educant en el present' cycle and prepares new edition for 2027

Dénia Town Council, through its Community Addiction Prevention Unit (UPCA), has closed the eleventh edition of 'Educant en el present', a training cycle aimed at families on communication in the home and the use of screens. The talks, delivered by Dr. Antonio Ríos Sarrió, drew an average of 150 attendees at each of the sessions held.

High levels of satisfaction

Surveys carried out among participants reflect a very favourable assessment of the programme. 87% gave the highest mark to the usefulness of the content and a further 11.6% scored it 4 out of 5. Regarding the fulfilment of training expectations, 84.1% awarded the highest score and 14.5% opted for a 4.

Improvement in educational skills received 69.6% of maximum ratings and 24.6% of scores of 4. The speaker's professionalism stands out particularly, recognised with the highest mark by 95.7% of those surveyed. Overall satisfaction with the programme reached 91.3% of maximum scores, with a further 7.2% awarding a 4 out of 5.

Funding and new call

The family training programme has received a grant of €2,068.01 from Alicante Provincial Council. Following the good results obtained, Dénia Town Council has confirmed that the initiative will continue with the twenty-seventh Family School, under the title 'Educant per a Previndre'.
