Ferran Lloret to be Compromís candidate for Pedreguer mayor in 2027
Ferran Lloret, a member of the municipal council since 2019, announced in a radio interview his ambition to become mayor of Pedreguer in the May 2027 elections, replacing Sergi Ferrús, according to Dénia FM.
Ferran Lloret, Compromís candidate for Pedreguer, confirmed on Tuesday 29 September in a radio interview his intention to run for mayor of Pedreguer in the May 2027 municipal elections. "I want to be mayor of Pedreguer," Lloret said, according to Dénia FM.
According to this source, Compromís's local assembly unanimously backed Lloret's candidacy. Lloret has been part of the municipal council since 2019. Sergi Ferrús has held the office of mayor of Pedreguer since 2011.
Continuity of projects
According to Dénia FM, Lloret plans to continue with ongoing projects, including the rehabilitation of La Musical and the second phase of Pedreguer's museum. The administrative tender documents for La Musical have already been approved, according to the same source.
Proposals for the term
According to Dénia FM, Lloret proposes pedestrianising the centre of Pedreguer to improve accessibility and mobility on foot or by bicycle. He also advocates, according to this source, for an intergenerational housing cooperative project with modular, adaptable homes, as well as continuing the modernisation of the Les Galgues industrial estate to generate stable, quality employment.
According to Dénia FM, Lloret asserts that the transition with Ferrús will be one of continuity, without rupture, combining new faces and experience. Compromís per Pedreguer has confirmed that the 2027 electoral programme will include a citizen participation process.
