Dénia's PP to analyse local economic future at second Trellat Forum
The party is holding its next meeting on 2 October at the Real Club Náutico, focusing on economic development and growth opportunities for the city.
Dénia's Popular Party is continuing its series of meetings called the Trellat Forums, which reaches its second edition on Friday 2 October at 12:00 at the Real Club Náutico de Dénia. The session, entitled "Dénia: City of Opportunities", will focus on the local productive model and ways to drive its expansion.
On this occasion, the panel will bring together Carlos Gil, Antonio Sentí, Sonja Dietz and José Antonio Belso, alongside Pepa Font herself, the PP representative who has driven the initiative. At the first forum in the cycle, the PPCV, CEDMA, Auren Alicante, the Miguel Hernández University of Elche and Suma Gestión Tributaria already took part, entities linked to this territorial debate project.
Font has highlighted the positive reception of the first forum held by the party, both in terms of attendance and the quality of the speeches. In her words, "after the success that the first of the forums has been, both in terms of public attendance and the quality of the presentations given by the participants, this second forum, focused on the city's economic model, will be a step forward for the future that Dénia needs".
The PP representative has also stressed the need to plan urban development in the long term, rather than managing the city reactively. As she explained, "Dénia, with 50,000 inhabitants, needs to prepare and apply a future project and not act on an ad hoc basis as is currently happening".
This second meeting is part of a broader calendar that is expected to reach a total of five thematic forums organised by the local PP, according to reports, with the stated objective of opening spaces for reflection on the city's main challenges.
