Dénia hosts professional event on protocol in local government

Dénia Town Council will host, in collaboration with the Spanish Protocol Association (AEP), a professional meeting entitled "The art of proximity: Protocol in Local Government today". The event will take place on Thursday 15 October, between 11:00 and 13:00, at L'Androna Multiespai, at Baleària Port.

The session will address the challenges facing protocol in town halls, gaps in current regulations and the obstacles that local authorities encounter daily.

A round table with representatives of the AEP

A round table will focus on existing legal gaps, the outdated nature of regulations and the complications that municipal protocol officers face in their daily work. The president of the AEP, Ramón Peche Villaverde; the association's delegate in the Valencian Community, Consuelo Luján Gadea; and the association's member, Susana Guindo, will take part.

This meeting aims to promote the exchange of experiences between professionals and to open a discussion on how to improve inter-administrative relations and respect for institutional precedence, as well as to recognise the work carried out by protocol officers in town councils.

Baleària, the Dénia UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy seal and Fundació Creativa Dénia also collaborate in organising the event.
