Calp prepares tax reform for 2027 with cuts to rates and taxes

Calp council is preparing a tax reform for 2027 that includes a reduction in vehicle tax, a cut to the waste collection fee and relief on inheritance tax.

Vehicle tax will be reduced by 25% in 2027. The waste collection fee will also be cut, whilst the inheritance tax will include relief for those inheriting property. These fiscal measures were already brought before the full council, as La Marina Times reported.

Approval of the reform came about thanks to a further absence by councillor César Sánchez (PP), who was unable to take part in the vote.
