Calp to tender nearly €600,000 resurfacing plan across four zones

New phase of municipal plan

Calp Town Council has opened the tender process for a road surface improvement project affecting roads in Empedrola I and II, Cometa III and Canuta. The tender budget amounts to €596,791.23 and the works are scheduled to be completed within three months.

Purpose of the works

The intervention aims to renew the pavements in these areas and correct existing defects, including potholes, soft spots, subsidence and deformation caused by tree roots.

In addition to asphalt renewal, the works will include the replacement of drainage elements that have been affected and the adjustment of road levels once the new pavement is laid, according to the same source.

Signage and plan continuity

Once the resurfacing is completed, horizontal signage will be renewed, repainting both newly paved surfaces and existing points.

This tender is part of the Resurfacing Plan that Calp Town Council has been developing in recent years, through which the council has devoted a total of around €2.5 million to this type of work.
